Overall Objectives

• Prevention of deaths due to malaria
• Prevention of morbidity due to malaria
• Maintenance of ongoing socioeconomic development.

Specific Objectives

• To reduce malaria related mortality and morbidity by at least 30% by 2015 as compared to 2008.
• To halt & reverse the incidence of malaria by 2015(as per Millenium Development Goals)
